Takeshi's Castle, has anyone ever won?

OK this is not exactly essential "life" information, but it would be ace if someone out there had at some point witnessed the phenomenon?

Nelly, my hubby, my dad and my brother watch this and none of them have ever seen anyone win - MrNat gets particularly upset, because he feels it is unfair - in the final, the tissue paper on the contestants targets is really thin and their water guns are really weak, whereas the guards have thick paper and huge super soaker guns!

I used to watch this with my Nephew, and I can tell you that in all the programmes we watched we did actually witness a winner on two seperate occasions. It was a bit of an anti-climax though. 5 seconds of smiley faces, five seconds of exploding glitter and cheap fireworks and then ......... the end credits !

If you haven't seen a winner, you haven't missed much.

i used to watch it a lot and wondered if anyone had ever won 2 lol thanx for that link natalie as i had to see it to believe it.
Seems its about as exciting when someone wins than when they dont, not very lol

I too have seen somebody win, but as said not a lot happens. Also there are 2 versions one where they use the paper and water guns and another where they use "lasers".
