Antique maker/pottery backward S china Backstamp

Does anyone have any idea for the manufacture or pottery of a White china/porcelain wall pocket stamped (indented) with a backward S shape? It is completely white and decorated with little flowers and cherubs which are quite fine. Thank you.

Why don't you take it to your local auction house/sale room or to a local antiques shop.
They will be able to give you a free valuation and possibly info on its background.

Thank you for your sensible advice. There was a reputable antique dealer about 9 miles away but he has recently closed shop, so will have to seek out another. I suppose I'm a little wary of wasting a professional's time but of course you are right. I've noticed that it does have another impressed word on it but I cannot make it out. I'll check out how far away the nearest dealer is. Thanks again!
