What is the cause of engine warning light showing on dash display ?
car is running perfectly, don't want to go to dealer and get ripped off!! Thanks very much.

Could be caused by many things but could also just be a loose or corroded connection in one of the many electronic connecters, only way to find out is to get a diagnosis on it, many ordinary garages are now getting the equipment to test cars now.

as toureman says a million things it could be but bear in mind the light is on as a warning so really does need checking out.

It is a warning that you don't actually have an engine, it's a kin mondeo FFS!

actually there are parts on X types from audi/vw, and they own Skoda...so..Jags have skoda parts
