Scottish & Newcastle import Becks into the UK as a premium lager sold almost exclusively in bottles (thus enhancing its sale price and therefore perceived value). The same applies to Tiger beer. Contrary to popular belief, Cobra is sold draught outside of Indian restaurants (the Scream chains sells it.)
So to answer your question, S&N limit its draught supply to preserve the brand's upmarketness - in the sense if it is sold on ta, it would likely be in a plain glass, when sold in bottles it is in a branded container.
