Hair Tonic
6 Answers
I used Silvikrin hair tonic for 30 years until they stopped making it about two years ago, I switched over to Boots hair tonic (bay rum) but it has been withdrawn due to faulty bottling.
I found both products alcohol based gave me healthy hair and scalp.
Has anyone got an alternative.

I recall in the days when my parents first came to te UK and beyond, Bay Rhum was used as a cure for many ailments, including fever, as well as a hair tonic.
You can still by Bay Rhum from Afro Caribbean hair product shops and they also sell Vaseline Hair Tonic, which was popular too, back in the day.
