OK, im not the world's greatest speller and when online i type with little regard to punctuation.
But, ive seen this on the noticeboard at the nursery, a noticeboard for parents to read how their little one is doing and for little acheivements to be posted.
"all these children was able to put there shoes and sock on all by themselfs"
now, do i mention it to the nursery? do i change it? or do i just ignore it?
what would you do?

Hi girls.
I'd do the same as ummmm, redcrx. In fact I HAVE done it. This keyboard here's terrible, and letters keep appearing where I know I haven't typed them in, as well as capital letters sometimes not appearing, but I know that my spelling's usually good.
Seeing teachers put "there" instead of "their", or "your" instead of "you're", really annoys me, because children see these words and think they're right. Then if they make the same mistakes later on at school, they get marked down for it!

little CRX has bgeen there a year now and loves it. He leaves for primary school in September.
The girls that work there are great although, as many in the area, often talk that way.
The only problem i have with little CRX is that he will occasionally say "they was" and things along those lines, which i correct him on. He is dropping his Hs but thats the local accent i suppose.

LOL I don't think I would mention it either. If it was a school then I would but at a preschool it seems a bit void.
Aaaah redcrx, if only they was the least of my worries. Being not only Somerset boys with a farming background and very country interests, I am currently trying to explain to my eldest that "where's that to" is not correct and neither is "I/he/she/they/we bes or dos", not to mention all the other little things a broad accent makes sound like he isn't speaking in English. I'm not really sure where he gets it from because neither me or his teacher says any of this.
