yes it is last Saturdays. No other reference to it anywhere that I can find.
I did think of noir, as it is the only thing that makes sense(?)
But cannot find any reference to it.
I shall put noir in as the answer and find out in a weeks time!!

I completed the crossword on saturday and I can't remember "out of the blue" Out of thin air strikes a chord though!

Thought it was 3,2,3,4, yet, it is 3,2 , 4, 3 which makes all the difference in working it out especially if you do not have the x word infront of you. Anyway, delighted that you have your answer + that makes perfect sense. All's well that ends well. Warmest wishes to all, Bea :-)
