Wanting to know how he feels

Hi there,
I posted a problem not long ago about someone in my class:

but then I sort of put it out of my mind because he got a girlfriend, but they have split up now. I'm starting to realise that I REALLY want something to happen, and I need to know how he feels, but I'm not brave enough to ask him. I feel like I'm completely wasting time, and I'm worried that the whole thing will fizzle out because I've not made it obvious!

I don't know what to do, how to let him know... any advice?

Ask him what he watches on telly, films, computer games. Just chat about the course. Sometimes they need a bit of a gentle nudge. Mine did.
