can any one help me to find my Birth family,

with out going into to much detail ,I was given away at the age of about three years old, I am now at the age of seventy five.

I have been putting together a Family Tree , and I must say I have not done to badly in tracing my Brothers and sister, and we finaly met each other again after fifty years, I have also traced other members of the Family.

now this what I would ike to know , I have traced my Grandparents names , but I can not match them together in Mariage, I have gone through all the Censuse`s but can not find them,

can you tell me if they were Catholics would the be in the census.
thank you for any help you can give.

Religion had nothing to do with whether somebody was included in a census.

Everybody who was in the country on census night should have been included, but that is not to say that some people got missed - either deliberately or by mistake.
also sometimes the spelling can be off, its worth checking the houses of relatives on the census as they can sometimes have family members as lodgers or guests.

the census has nothing to do with religion, it is merely a headcount of the country.
Good luck brummie.!!!!

I wish you all the luck in the world with your search.
I'm sorry i cant help you, but just wanted to say that I am thinking of you, and feel so happy for you, for finding your lost brothers and sisters. Thats fantastic. x
