Death from eating excessively hot chillis has been mentioned on a couple of TV shows.

I know a programme called Mythbusters certainly tested chillis, but I don't think they tried that one.

Minced Nagas - plural? That is big trouble, but I haven't seen the story.

I have tried a few of those purified capsaicin sauces, Dave's Insanity Sauce and hotter, and they are madness, even for a chillihead like me. You get to the point with chilli pain where you are seriously Wishing I Had Never Done It, because you are Stuck With It for nearly an hour. It is a feeling almost like a panic attack.

I was in a restaurant with a group of friends and the subject of chilli heat came up. One of the waiters shot off home and came back with one of the chillies his mum grows in front of an open oven. Me and matey took a huge macho bite, and the suffering started. I admit he took it better than me, but there was sweat running down his face and he went very red. We had Cobra on the house that night, several very rapid pints

There are these lovely chillies in spain called pimientas del padron. They cook them whole and salt them. Most of them are tasteless but on average 1 in 16 is a really hot bu66er. The thing is, you cannot tell which one it will be just by looking at them. We are all serious chilli heads in my family!!! When my mum eats a kebab - she pours half a bottle of west indian chilli sauce on it!

Ummmmmmmm i did wonder about mr marvel ( he was marvelman but was banned for being an abusive bully on here ) he seems to think im knobby !!

Well i was at a show last nite , got home at 12.30 and went to bed quite merrily drunk from copious amounts of beer.
