Horse trailer purchased not model as described in ad

I bought a horse trailer that was adertised as a certain model. When I got it home I found out it was a different model. I contacted the seller and he agreed in writing in an email that he would refund �300. Now he has refused. Do I have a claim against him?

You have the necessary evidence the Advert and The Log Book which shows the correct details
what d'you mean 'when I got it home'? Couldn't you see what your were buying at the time of purchase?
