Is this intimidation?
Phil Woollas the minister in charge of immigration had an unexpected visit by a cahort of protestors. Should they have been charged? Is threatening violence the way to achieve the ends? Why did the police stand idly by? Freedom of speech is one thing but should this happen in a democracy? Mandellson was attacked recently by having a green liquid thrown over him. Are the passive majority losing the battle?

Sorry, rov, seems to me like you're "stirring" a wee bit here, mate.
Having read the article, it clearly states that there was no violence, there was no damage, there was no forced entry, and the Police were unaware that anything was happening until receiving a phone call. They then attended and the protesters left when requested to do so.
Compare this incident with that totally different one in Luton the other day when a group of protesters verbally harangued the marching squaddies and brandished posters with some vile sentiments on them. Now THAT was an incident where not only did the Police "stand idly by" when there were clear Public Order offences being committed, but they then arrested two people who shouted some abuse at the protesters!!
So let's put things in perspective. I'm not condoning what those people did at the MP's office, but it appears that theirs was a far more sedate and orderly protest than that in Luton where, outrageously, nothing happened because of, in my view, political correctness.

It would be intereting to know if these morons from No Borders leave their front door open when they go out in the morning to allow anyone who feels like it to move in and live in their house.
After all, a front door is a "border".
Maybe they leave their keys in their car and let anyone take a spin in it who feels like a drive round.
After all a locked car is a "border".
These people live in such an idealistic left wing fantasy world.
Maybe when they grow up and get a job and start paying taxes they wont be too happy when they find that their local hospital cant afford to operatre on them because too many people are flying in from abroad to have their operations done free on the NHS.
Or they may be upset when they find out that while they go out to work every day and pay their taxes that the failed asylum seeker next door is living on benefits and sub letting his house to 10 other failed asylum seekers.
Then perhaps they will realise this No Borders idea is a load of rubbish.
Idiots

If Phil Willis was not taken aback by 12 protesters entering his surgery and plastering it with posters then he must be a very brave man. The fact that someone called the police shows the possible intimidation and verbal assault. I have never heard of Open Borders before but with stunts like this they will achieve greater recognition. It is not the physical assault that matters so much as the threat that these organisations can cause an individual. Just put yourself in his position and react how you would feel.
