No, because you can't win enough games against the "lesser teams" all today's result means is that you are guaranteed third place . . . . . . . top 2 to be decided between Man U and Chelsea . . . .

After all the hype about how wonderful magnificent and dominant United are - they've shipped 4 goals, been made to look ordinary and Liverpool have done the double over them after coming from behind in both games !
I'd say they had reason to be cheeerful !
I don't support either team but Man Utd will obviously still win the league, and that's not taking anything away from a brilliant result for Liverpool.
we still stuffed the manures 4-1. at old Trafford, and stuffed them 2-1 at Anfield this season.

Yeah, you can play well against big teams, but can't beat the likes of Middlesborough . . . . . so you'll finish third.
