Frogs/Toads

Does anyone know of a means of keeping the above out of a garden.
My little grandsons are terrified of them,and are reluctant to play in the garden 'in case on jumps on them' Have tried to reassure them but to no avail.......

How about getting some frog spawn and getting him to help you look after them and grow them into frogs, he may form an attachment and see that they're harmless

Ask them if they can stick their tongues right out like a frog. Or can they jump like a frog. Explain what a useful job frogs and toads do in the garden by keeping down the slugs and insects that could damage Grandma's plants.

Careful with the frogspawn idea I have a feeling it is now illegal to do this. I cured my friends daughter of fearing spiders by touching the spiders web to make it think I was a fly. when she felt she controlled the spider her fear went. Try holding your grandson close and saying that you are going to make the frog jump. And when the frog jumps they have to jump. I am sure if you have them hopping round the garden like frogs they will soon get over their fear. XX
