I have just been watching a blackbird in my garden going round and picking up some of my lawn cuttings from yesterday. I said to myself ( I could have said it to the cat, but she is fast asleep), I bet I know what he has on his mind.

Agree with you zzxxee :-) Am in some pain at moment, yet, looking at the blue sky sure is uplifting. Also, had many people smile at me + be kind to me in town earlier- this was a real tonic too! Saw a pied wagtail, also, such a pretty bird :-)Always good to see the glass as half full- optimism makes life more wonderful + makes you live longer too- scientific fact. I love the fact that we have fresh air and clean drinking water.

yesterday was such a lovely day it was a delight to get out of the house away from other people and sit in the garden with a book and a cuppa tea, watching the cat playing out in his first ever spring in his little life.

i think I felt revitalised and could look at things in a completely different way.
