iphone 3G - missing manual

Has anyone read it? my mum has just bought an iphone and she hasn't a clue what she's doing. I thought i might buy her it for Mother's Day. Is it any good?

I love my iPhone. Hadnt initially wanted one and tested it against similar phones. It won hands down. The camera isnt great and doesnt support flash player for some websites etc but that doesnt bother me. Its like Marmite, you either love it or hate it!
As for the manual you have a link using wifi on your iPhone or via your pc. Its easy to pick up the basics, and I am still learning new things each week. If she doesnt like it make sure she lets u have it! Have fun.

It is very good. David Pogue is very good at explaining things simply and concisely. I highly recommend it.

Just come back with more info but you have already pruchased it, good choice.

I have just found out you can download the book direct to your iPhone from the App store for �2.99. Means you have the manual with you when you need to work out how to do something on your phone.

Interestingly, the App version has out sold the regular paper version. It is thought to be the first time this has happened.
