How would you explain sarchasm to a ' visitor from outer space ' ?

Also is sarchasm peculiar to the GB/UK ?

Sarcasm is used all over the world, and if there are such things as aliens, no doubt they (in their own language) also use sarcasm.
I would explain how to define it but I doubt you would understand it.

sarcasm may be the lowest form of wit, Berti but it's the highest form of intelligence.
there is no 'chasm' in sarcasm......the joys & woes of spelling would chase any high-brow alien off.
