sky remote code

hi i have a 42 inch baird lcd, model is x42dtv i have just had sky plus hd installed and have tried all the remote codes from the baird category and none work im just wondering if anyone has any advice or no,s the code for my tv thanks

I have no technical knowledge on this at all but when we got a new Samsung TV the Sky remote didn't work with any of the on-screen codes so I rang Sky and a woman talked me through loads of different codes to try until she found the one that worked. Something like that anyway - ring Sky.
