If all that fails you could always stowaway on a freightship for the excitement element,but just dont get caught as you may find your "holiday" becomes an 18 hour day working in the ships engine room as your bound on a 1 way journey to deep antartica!

Where abouts do you live? Are you wanting to stay in this country? How far are you wanting to travel? Just 2 of you or a family? Lazy weekend or an action packed weekend full of thrills?

Travelodge are doing some good cheap deals, their rooms aren't the most fanciest of places (basic) but if you just use the room as a base it doesn't matter what it's like so long as it's clean.

Have a think about whereabouts you are wanting to get away to and check out the local hotels, B&B's etc as quite a few places are doing weekend deals.

We've had some good weekends away to Scarborough if that helps :o)

hi zzxxee - if i did'nt have "my significant other" - i would sweep you off your feet and whisk you off to paris for a romantic weekend of fine wine great food and best dance clubs ....................................................... but i do, so that bursts that bubble!!, (sedin feddiiinnnn reddddin dick dastardly!)

takeaway meals ..slob out ...and
sod the world .But there are loads of
