Headlight adjuster kit for continental driving

Is it complusory for me  to fit headlight adjusters for a journey to Holland this Summer or do I just have carry the kit on board ? I don't think I will be doing any driving at night.

Foreign drivers over here don't seem to bother !

By law it is compulsory in nearly all European countries to have your headlights 'adapted' so that they do not dazzle oncoming drivers on dipped beam. In practice, few people bother. I drove my truck on the continent for over 2 years ( a lot of it night driving) and never got stopped once.

Although you state that you are not going to drive at night, you forget that it might be wet/low-light during the day.  I would fit the tape adapters.

I think I'd better fit the adapters as suggested because knowing my luck I'll run across a French copper having a bad day !

One of my old housemates "adapted" the headlights on his German van by sticking duct tape onto the little area where the bought adaptors go. Cost five minutes rummaging around under the stairs and lasted for 3 years! We were students then.
