tell her to wash her face during the day often as it washes away the pollen that sticks, eyebrows are the worst as the pollen clings and drops off into the eyes , wash out the nostrils as well , a bit of vaseline just inside the nostrils stops the pollen going up the nose , awful thing to suffer with hayfever

Ladybird's tip of using vaseline really does work. Put some under the eyes too and it will catch any pollen on it's way up.

A teaspoonful of local honey every day will build up an immunity. It is made from local pollen by local bees, who do not travel any more than about half a mile from their hive. It does work but, as with most things in nature, it takes time.
