When I am on my feet for a while, the middle toe on my left foot starts to feel painful, tingly and as if it is going to cramp.
Anyone got any idea what the problem might be?
Thanks.

I think it's because you are on your feet for a while.
poor circulation in your feet especially in that particular toe.

Thanks cove, but what would compromise the circulation to one toe but not the others? Would the others not also be affected?
There are no other signs of poor circulation that I know of ie there is good colour in my toes/foot and they are warm.
chivvy....odd symptoms, nothing obvious comes to mind.

Wait and see.
Just had another thought. You do not say how old you are or what your occupation is.................Morton's Metatarslagia comes to mind, although not typical.

See you GP or better still a Podiatrist.

Thanks squad - I think i'll find myself a podiatrist. Or a chiropodist. What is the difference between a chiropodist or a podiatrist?
shivvy......no idea LOL
Guess.............chiropodist cuts toenails and hard skin...LOL
podiatrist does everything else to the feet.
