Car Alarm - Nissan Micra C+C
My car alarm goes off quite randomly, for about 5 seconds every so often. I haven't been able to track down a precise time (like 10am every Tuesday) or how often (once a day, every other day ...)
I thought it might be someone else's zapper setting it off but it goes off in the remote of places!
Someone suggested it might be a "low" car battery altgough there are no other signs of this.
The garage couldn't find anything wrong!
Any suggestiions would please my neighbours!
Thanks

Have you resolved the problem with your car alarm. I am having the exact same problem and cannot understand why its going off. Nissan is charging 78 just to look at it but not convinced they can help.
At the moment i am making sure the sun screen is closed on the roof and by blocking the air vents at the front of the car every night it seems to stay quite although doesn't look great with towels and coats shoved down the front windscreen.
Please let me know if you have solved the problem as my neighbours will also appreciate it,
Thanks

Sorry to say that I have not been able to resolve this. I don't think it is a sensitivity problem as it didn't go off once when it was really windy!
My Nissan garage couldn't find anything wrong when they looked while it was in for a service.
I think it is an electrical fault as hazzard lights also randomly flash when I first get in!
Quite reassuring it is not just me! How old is your car - mine is a 55 reg - which might have a bearing on it!
Please let me know how you get on!
