Posting A Long Dress
4 Answers
Hi. Am thinking of putting a long ball gown style dress on Ebay. I may seem a bit dense for not knowing this, but how would I go about sending this to whoever buys it? Can't just shove it in a box or envelope like most things! :o)
Thanks!

Wrap the dress in tissue paper and then ideally place in a Polythene bag, guarding against moisture. Then place the dress in either a suitably sized padded jiffy bag or a box, which can be purchase at any Royal Mail post office.

I agree with both Velvetee and bigsister - or you could ask them to collect the item from your home. The only problem with that is you would'nt get too many people interested in bidding.
I sell on Ebay and have sent parcels all over the world (with no problems, I might add), if anything, I get more problems with sending stuff to London .
Good luck
