but I guess it depends whether you're wanting to do it at school or privately.

well quite a few people at my school are biolingual, and so many of them have taken an 'easy' gcse in german, italian, russian and even polish.
my mother is hungarian, and i grew up speaking the language. I was just wondering if I could take an exam in it, as an easy qualification to put on the list :)

Have you tried that Rosetta Stone? The do learn at home courses in all European languages on CD.
