Can you tell me if you were kicked in the ribs on the right side, how long would it take for your gallbladder to inflame and then go back to normal?

I cannot conceive of a kick to the ribs would damage the gall bladder.

It would have to be so traumatic (hit by a car) as to damage the liver as well.

This would be life threatening and would need immediate hospitalization and emergency surgery.
