Can you be done for calling police 'Pigs'?

The Police are often referred to in derogitory terms e.g. 'Pigs', 'The Filth'

Not that I would or would want to (we were just discussing it) but .... could you be done/charged for talking to a policeman/woman and referring to them using these terms? e.g. 'I dont trust Pigs'

The police can usually find a way to bend the law to fit a given situation. In the circumstances you describe, they'd probably be thinking about Section 4A of the Public Order Act 1986:
