Last one for todays puzzle and it's wrecking my head.

3D Feels for devoted couples (6).

I've got ?I?I?S and can only think of PITIES for 'Feels for' but cannot make out the devoted couples bit other than possibly TIES for couples.

Grateful for an explanation of PITIES or if wrong, what is the correct answer?

pi = pious = devoted

I even looked up PI in an online dictionary and 'devoted' in the thesaurus as I suspected that may be what I was missing but alas to no avail!

Other than greek letters, geometry and tassorted jumbled printing characters there was nowt ther for PI.
