selling a car on public roads?

there is limited parking space outside my home and my neighbour has put a van outside for sale which could be there for some time.he already has a car outside.i was wondering if he was breaking any laws by doing this.im having to park two streets from where i live because of this guy?

hello hes not breaking any laws altho f it were me i would have a word with your them and tell them because you have obviously not thas why hes parking it there you hav a right to park your own car outside your own home

Technically, I believe that you are not allowed to offer something for sale on the street unless you have a permit to do so from the local council.

Nobody has a "right" to park a car on a particular bit of a public road.

I don't think you actually have a right to park outside your own home ,at least not legally ,certainly it would be nice to be able to.
Last year our council imposed heavy fines on car sales on the highway.....contact your council.
Rollo is right you are not entitled to park at your door. You buy or rent your house but not the road you just pay car tax to use the road.In my street some people from the top have to park at the botton I know it s annoying but the majority could use there garage .
