urgently need help!

my partner has found a lump on his testicle about the size of a peanut..he visited the doc and he has made an appointment at the hospital 4 a scan..my partner is in agony and said it feels like some1 is squeezing them tight..he is off 2 the hosp in the mean time any ideas wat it cud b?

1st question: is it in his scrotum or testicle?

Scrotum contains: Testis and Epidydimus which sits on top of the testis.

My guess it is the Epididymus.....so could be:
1) cyst...benign
2)spermatocoel....bag of sperms......benign
3) Hydrocoel.....full of fluid
4) Varicocoel......bag of veins...feels like a bag of worms.

Testis.......malignancy is uncommon.

A scan will sort it out, but my money goes on epididymal cysts.....NOT malignant.

Isharp, I can't answer your question but it must be very worrying for both of you. has he gone to the hospital now? if he's in pain it needs to be dealt with urgently.
don't panic. whatever it is.. the earlier they get on with it the better x

Could it be a cyst that's burst? Apparently that's very very painful!
