Just reading the soulmate post in relationships and dating and was wondering, if you've found your soulmate, whats the one thing that makes them have the special status of 'soulmate' rather than someone you love very much?
It's often the unspoken things they do for you Sophie. You don't need them to be forever telling you that they love you - you know they do. It's a sharing of minds as well as interests. It's also being completely at ease with them and having an understanding of each others needs. The same as love, but with no need for the negative emotions, such as jealousy.
hmmm, good reasons! I do believe in soulmates but don't think that when I first met my boyfriend I knew he was my soulmate, think we've worked hard and have become soulmates but at the moment feeling that that connection isn't as strong as it used to be but comforts me to think that we can work at it again and kind of re-establish it.
My first husband was my soulmate. We were made for each other and so "in tune" regarding everything, sense of humour, parental values, sex. It is rare to find your soulmate but when you do, hold on to them.
your soulmate once found will irrespective of time and life changes always be that, ultimately re-united in the after life, I am so fortunate that I know mine!!!
aww thats very sweet prudentia, as i said, don't think i knew straight away that my boyfriend was my soulmate but he has become that but also know there will be ups and downs in our relationship!
My husband was killed in active service. We were "high school sweethearts" and married at 18. I loved him with my heart and soul. I miss him every day. I am remarried and love my husband dearly. We are happy, and our(my eldest is my first husbands) children are happy. xx
