what could i be entitled to??

ive just finished maternity leave/pay,and am now going back to doing a few hours (less than 15)a week mobile hairdressing,im probably only earning 50-80pound a week and only started again last week,my partner got laid off work last week and is now on jobseekers allowance.we are getting a bit of child tax credit,but apart from that do you think i may be entitled to anything?i was being paid �117 off the government while on maternity leave,my partner was working,we got child and working tax credit then so it just seems a bit strange that we aren't recieving anything else to help us get by until my work picks up and my partner finds a job.hope this makes sense!!
