AVG Update

I have just updated AVG to 8.5 version but now it says that my e-mail scanner component is not active. I've never had any problems with this before any ideas how to put this right. I'm up to speed with all updates.

I updated mine yesterday and it came up that the anti-virus and anti-spyware was inactive. eventually shut down, restarted, opened up the AVG and everything was ok. Don't know what I'd done but it worked
