Simvastatin Tablets

I have been taking these tablets for about 8 years for cholestrol reduction during the past few months I have had dizzy turns and aches and cramp pains . Has anyone else had these problems? Have you had different tablets prescribed? Would be grateful for any replies.

you should go back to your gp as this could be a side affect

Hi , if you have been taking this medication for 8 years it seems unlikely that the symptoms you are now experiencing are connected to Simvastatin - you should see your Dr

i have been taking simvastatin for 3 years,never had any prolems,but before that,i was given another statin which gave me muscle pains and a rash,but this happened one or two weeks into the other prescribed statin.So i dont think after eight years this is a side affect,but your metabollism may have changed,i would go see the doc.
