(wasnt sure where to post this. sorry!)
I had a thought last night - in these credit crunch times... Sky TV are offering a reward to people who recommend a friend to sign up for Sky TV and to the 'friend' who signs up to Sky TV...
I thought I might ask you all - and see if we can create a contact 'chain' so I recommend a friend and get my reward, then that friend recommends the next person and so on. That way we can all get a reward!
How about it????
The offer currently is to get the Sky+ box for free which I think is worth about 50 - the 'referee' has a choice between the box or M&S vouchers of the same value.
Is anyone up for trying my little plan?
What do you all think?

ooh.. what does that mean Steve? Can you explain?
Do they not give you the vouchers etc?
WHy are these offers never what they seem
you have to pay to have the SKY+ installed at about 60 i think.
there no strings to the vouchers, you get them (as does the person who signs up) as soon as first months bill is paid.

According to this, if you nicely tell them unfortunately you have to cancel, you could get Sky+ box and installation for as little as 15

I already have Sky+ so they cannot sell me anything... but if I recommend someone (and they sign up to a 12mth contrct - which inceidentally you have to do anyway!) then I can get the vouchers.
Then the next person in my 'contact' chain, gets to recommend a friend too and they get their vouchers and so on.
I am only after people who are thinking of getting sky in the first place... I'm not trying to dupe anyone in....
Sorry Steve - I still dont quite get your point. Maybe I'm being really thick (it is Fri afterall) but with Sky you have to take a 12mth contract anyway so you are not being conned into signing up for something you wouldnt normally have too anyway.
when we took sky out the other year i was recommended by a friend i got a free sky + box and a 50 pound m&s voucher .my friend also got 50 pound voucher
I got 50 for recomending a friend about 2 years ago, it wasnt cash it was deducted off my bill.

Yay!! so it works then if you are all getting recommended too!
Does anyone here not have sky and wants it?
IF so - I can recommend you as MY friend.. and then you can recommend the next person as your friend.. and we all get yummy M&S vouchers!!!

Come on - ROLL up roll up.. who is looking to get Sky+??
