I have heard their album, but I am not sure how to look at them. Funny men taking the mick out of the rock business or actual musicians? Whats your fought?

Jack Black and Kyle Gass are, first and foremost, comic actors who happen to be rock fans. Black in particular has become pretty big news in Hollywood over the last few years (Shallow Hal, School of Rock etc).That said, they do display a certain musical ability that puts them well ahead of most actors who fancy themselves as musical types. Of course, having the likes of Dave Grohl helping them out doesn't hurt either.

i think they are actually muscians but not exactly credited. they have some cool songs but i dnt think they take themselves too seriously which is gud and i think thats wot evry1 else sud view them as "not too serious" but still v v cool.
