OK, Ed Balls has been highlighted a couple of questions ago as a bad name to have as a public figure for obvious pun-opportunities.

D i c k Spring was another obvious one (I'm not sure that is allowed on AB - it is his legitimate name!)

Nigel Lawson had the most amazing anagram for the time he was in - 'we all sign on' (thanks to some program I heard on Radio 4 years ago)

The MP for Ipswich used to be Ernle Money. His name was unfortunate because his election posters invariably suffered graffiti, so that the electorate were apparently invited to support a policy of 'Ernless Money'.

I've often felt that the American singer Lou Rawls has a rather unfortunate name. (Many British DJs seem to deliberately pronounce it as 'loo rolls').

A classmate was Peter Green. When Green won a race at the school sports day, the Headmaster declared that the winner was " Green P". When this got a laugh, the Head cleared his throat solemnly and announced that the winner was " P Green" !
