I was doing this crossword and put into Google the words "Sir samuel scotsman commander russian navy". The very first site on the list gave the answer without even having to click on it.

The third site was your question on Answerbank.

The problem with doing the crossword a bit later on in the day is that you keep stumbling upon answers on when I would rather look for it myself than be given the answer.

Why don't people try finding the answer before just putting it on answerbank?

I did exactly as I always do if i don't know an answer, I google it. I couldn't find the answer!! so that is why I went on answerbank, that is what it there for.

Now, now ladies!!
Instead of using your computer and the internet, which takes all the fun and brain power out of doing crosswords anyway, why not try the old fashioned way of using reference books and dictionaries etc., ..... then if the person isn't listed in them, then turn to the internet as a last resort as I normally do.

I dont have a dictionary nor a reference book, please don't tell me to go to the library, I am disabled and dependent on someone getting me and my in and out of the house and into a car. please don't bedgrudge me using answerbank.
