Mmm, they won't think that when they are in a hospital bed in 15 years with a rotten liver and other illnesses to boot.
Why is it that binge drinking is always down to teenagers?

Go anywhere with a population on a Friday or Saturday night in the UK and see full grown adults up to the same thing.

Despite all of the outcry from people on here and in the media, ask most parents when they are out of that spotlight if they think their kids should drink most will say yes, but in moderation.

I'm actually on the side of the teenagers on this one. I remember when I was young and hated having the moral finger wagged at me telling me I was too young to drink, but had to tolerate seeing those same people doing the very same thing that was a no no for me.

Teenagers make the same drunken mistakes us adults make.

It's more newsworthy for two 15 year olds to be found in throwing up in a gutter on a damp Friday evening rather than Mr and Mrs Average that are upto the very same thing in an adjacent street.

Well said socket.

This is just a preable to Noo Labour taxing booze into oblivion.

There are many things that Adults have to wag a moral finger at, and that they are a no no for the young.

Do you think then that children should be allowed to do anything an Adult can do?

Is it little wonder with your and other's liberal attitude, this is the whole reason that we now have an under-age drink and other problems.

If adults portrayed the correct way to behave in the first place, then maybe we would live in a better society.

Over this past weekend I witnessed at least 5 adults throwing up in the street whilst two others were smoking what looked like weed in a shop doorway. No sign of teenagers there, though no doubting if there were, the media and those like yourself would be there with the wagging finger at the ready.

Most of those causing trouble where binge
drinking is concerned are adults, not teenagers. That is my point and I stand by it 100%.
