My never ending puter probs

Okay my mic still doesn't work, even thought i checked it is in the right place and its volume is up.

Also, completely unrelated every 45-60 seconds i get this program error pop up it says 'WinMgmt.exe has generated errors and will be closed by windows. You will need to restart the program. An error log is being created.' It is very annoying. Does anyone know how I can stop this pop uppy thingy bobby?

check that the line in/ mic is not muted in all the sound control menus you can find, ie: windows and creative etc. Sometimes the software for your sound card does'nt talk to the windows stuff, thats what heppend to me. Try a different mic, i have lots of trouble with mine.
