Has there ever been one band which has combined flowing orchestral arangements and spoken poetry with crashing symphonic rock music?... yes indeed....The greatest five piece orchestra in the world ...The Moody Bues...personaly I kinda like them ----just a teensy weensy bit LOL-- What do you think?

the Doors< ELP utterly brilliant but no one else had the incredible 'Melatron' What a piece of musical/electronic interface... and this forty years ago
If I remember correctly, King Crimson used a Melotron. Another orchestral band but without the poetry.

Incidentally, did you know that Robert Fripp of King Crimson is married to Toyah Wilcox?
