Do I still need to fill out the green landing card on arrival in the US if I've filled out the form on-line?

I've printed off the information (which is the same as on the landing card) and I have a reference number, but I don't want to get to the customs officer then be sent to the back of the queue and fill out the form!

Although I think the idea is that eventually you won't have to do the I-94 form, at the moment you still do. Thats my understanding anyway. If they offer you the card on the plane, just fill it out to be on the safe side...it will only take 2 minutes!
At the moment (and for some months yet) the two systems are running in parallel, so yes you do have to fill it in.

You won't even get to the customs officer without it - he's the one who examines your baggage! By then you are past imigration.

Yes, I had to complete one last week.
