cowon iaudio d2 mp3 player. problem loading

can anybody help, i assume to record on an mp3 player from the computer you connect via a usb lead, however when i do this all that appears to happen is that the battery charges, and I cannot acess any other screen. and when I go to the software screen how do i download files from my computer to this unit. a step by step list would assist. I cannot understand the instructions. thanks

As was answered yesterday.

Go to start > my computer and you should see the player listed as a removeable storage device or similar. Unless you are using Windows 98 in which case you will have to load the drivers from the cd.

Click on the device listed and then you can drag music files from your computer onto the player
