Milton Keynes

I'm going to a concert in June at the milton keynes bowl and never having been there before I looked at the official website and on it they say you can only bring a 1 litre bottle of drink in and no food can be brought in. I find it hard to believe that you cant bring food in, can anyone tell me if this is really true. Thanks in advance.

They always say that sort of thing to put people off so the rip off venders inside will get more custom. You'll probably find the only restriction on the door will be on glass bottles. And you'll probably get a nice bag search. So hide any stash in your socks ;o)

I went there last year and they didn't even search my bag, though they did ask us to leave the big bottled drinks outside.  I guess if they say you can't then it means you can't - is it really worth putting a dampener on your day by having to leave your peanut butter sarnies at home?

I'm sure if you told them you have strict dietary requirements that the numerous burger/ chip/ pizza/ noodle/ hot dog vans cannot satisfy.

I went a while back on the hottest day of the year, and they took everything off us, and charged stupid prices for drinks inside.  St Johns were busy that day.  Try and get in as much water as you can.  Having said that, it'll probably rain in June.  Sorry.  Have fun!

Just take whatever you like in a bag, food & drink. if they search your bag and the worse thing they could do would be to take the food away. If they don't search you then you will obviously get away with it. It's not like they are going to arrest you or anything.

 

You couls always tell them you are diabetic or something if they kick up a fuss.

Last time I went they took everything consumable, including sealed bottled water!
