my mum in law has this car and started to sound really lumpy and loud the engine does,it hardly has any power se struggled to pull off on a steep hill the other day its had a new exhaust system fitted still lacks power its really sluggish any ideas ???

I don't think this is anything to do with the exhaust fitting unless they disconnected something for access and forgot to reconnect it.

Could be anything for a dodgy spark plug to fuel blockage to timing to losing compression. Best plan is to find a local independent garage and let them take a look. They'll charge about a quarter what a main dealer would.

Was the car ok before the Exhaust was fitted? you say the car sounding loud!! It seems that the Exhaust is leaking. If the car was ok before the new exhaust, take it back & get them to sort it.
