A question for the girls out there - do you always wear matching bra and knicker sets?

I do have a few sets but tend to save them for 'special'. I try to match colour where I can but have to admit that a lot of the time my underwear is a bit 'pick and mix'!

i never go out without matching bra and knickers on.  I guess ive always been this way, even since my early teens ive been like it!  I thinkits psycological, i feel better if i know i have good (matching!) underwear on.

Oh and my boyfriend appreciates it to - always thinks im making the effort for him, never quite gotten around to telling him ive been doing it way longer than he's been around!

mines 'pick and mix' most of the time, I have a few matching sets but both the items never seem to be clean at the same time. I told myself I should stop buying un-matching undies but alas, that has not happened.

As long as the colours match thats fine by me, but that only works for black and white undies. Other colours i wear as a matching set.

I don't wear matching sets every day, but when I do they're 'nice' ones.  On a normal work day I wear whatever comes out of the drawer first, providing it doesn't show through my clothes!

I rarely wear matching sets but they all kind of match as they're all black - all my underwear is black, apart from one lone burgundy bra.  Recently knickers seem to be not that much cheaper than the bras they co-ordinate with which I think is a bit extortionate, so I often don't buy the set.

I sometimes wear matching, but 90% of the time its mix n match. Like funkychicken a lot of the time, the knickers and bras aren't clean at the same time!! For those that say they always wear matching - what happens if you wear say a white t shirt and black trousers? I'd want to wear a white bra but have black knickers - would't want the white knickers that matched my bra sticking out the top of the trousers?!!

Like most other posts I have some matching sets, but mostly - for work anyhow, I usually just match up the colours, although like Alix says even thats not always possible when you're wearing black trousers and a white top, on those days however I just take extra care!!!

usually i wear whatever matches the outfit im wearing which means it mostly mix n match. If im off out somewhere then I wear nice matching set.

i have three gorgeous (expensive!) matching sets that i keep for special occasions, or when i want to feel confident. almost all of the rest of my underwear is black & lacy, so it's not hard to coordinate to some degree.

before i got married i had a couple matching sets. but most of the time i didn't wear knickers (i find the word funny) we call them panties in the usa. anyway... and in the summer i never wore a bra.now it seems that i wear cotton panties white, and a white bra. i got boring since i got married. i did try to buy some panties, but my arse is too big. they're not as comfy as cotton! most of the matching sets here have a padded bra. even though i'm not big up top, i don't like padded bra's. well i'm rambling on again. sorry. angie eva

No.  Wear Black nicks under dark trousers and white nicks under light trousers and likewise white bras under light tops and black bras under dark tops.  So they sometimes match, depending on what I am wearing!

i hardly ever wear the matching underwear! i just put on whats there, and what i feel comfortable in! hehee xx

i dont own any matching underwear sets. i used to when i was single, you know just incase i got lucky ;) but now that i've settled down im not really bothered. i do have a few special items put by for my parteners benifit though. i only own black and white bra's, and my knickers, well, thier every colour of the rainbow!

hi well i have to say im with fp on this one. as most of my undies are black and white i do the same .... but recently there hasbeen an improvement in ladies underwear colours lots of burgandy and rose pinks so match these with the new boys shorts for women i know they look like mini blokes boxers but couldnt the fashion world give these undies a better name than boys shorts not very original is it girls .

I'm with FP on this!  Generally black or white, but not necessarily matching, depends on what colour top or bottoms I'm wearing.

If I'm lucky when I go out on a work day, I have on matching socks, everything else is negotiable!!

If I'm wearing a white top - then it's a white lacey bra. If I'm wearing a black top - then it's a black or purple lacey bra. The same applies to what colour trousers or shorts I'm wearing. (Don't wear skirts much these days). 

If we're going anywhere 'special' then I do tend to end up wearing black everything!

All you people who can get matching sets are lucky!  I'm rather large up top and have enough trouble finding any bras that fit.  Those I do find are never even slightly pretty and they certainly don't have matching knickers.  The assumption with manufacturers seems to be that if you are larger than average in the breast department then you couldn't possibly want anything lacy or pretty.  Functional seems to be their watchword!  OK rant over!!

I agree, all the pretty bras are in smaller sizes!   If you do find nice ones they cost an arm and a leg.
