I wonder if anyone has any info' of mouse repellant devices.
My garage is detatched and new-build so should be mouse proof but it isn't.
They get in under the front (up and over) doors and i cant seem to stop them. They have done lots of damage to my fishing tackle and other items of "soft" stuff .
I have made sure that there is no potential items of food about to attract them but they still come in.
Lately I have used a very efficient mouse trap using chocolate as a bait but I dont want to kill all the mice in the neighbourhood as I kill one at least every other night!!
I am told there are electronic rodent repellants available.
Is there and are they any good?

Hi,
Mice can cause serious damage to wiring through their incesant gnawing. 15% of house fires are caused by rodents chewing through electrical wires!
As a professional pest controller I would first look to 'proof' your garage. Mice are amazing climbers and can quite literally run up walls, access to mice is often found to be via the roof, however if your garage door does not fit correctly (and given the number of mice you have been experiencing this is obviously the main access point) you will constantly be having new visitors.
I would recommend (please note I have not seen your garage) brush stripping. Mice find their way round through kenethises (touch), brush strips along the foot of your garage door will effectively shut them out. I would then persue a baiting programme to remove any mice within the garage.
As with all wild animals there is no guarentees, but this corse of action would in 99% of circumstances satisfy your need.
