I loved Hill Street Blues rabbity. They were showing repeats on Channel 4 but they seem to have stopped.

I am trying with The Wire leg but I agree with rabbity. So far so much swearing and difficult to understand what they are saying half the time. I will persevere for now (recording it tonight).
