I have read up on the symptoms of ovarian cancer and, although I hate to sound like a hypochondriac, I'm worried in case how I feel could be indicative of the illness. I have lower back pain and lower abdomen discomfort which feels like permanent period pain. My periods are more regular than they ever have been but - sorry to sound graphic - they start as a tiny trickle, go on to be really heavy for a few days and then go back to being a trickle. This lasts for about a week. Dont know about the painful sex bit as me and the hubby havent done it for some time :o(. I'm extremely tired all the time and feel nauseous most of the time. My stomach is quite bloated too. I do intend to go to my GPs on Monday but has anyone any advice please. Many thanks x
It really isn't wise to try to diagnose your problem via the internet, you will be frightened to death. Go to see your GP and be prepared for an examination with a finger up your back passage, your gp will be able to tell whether you have a cyst and will no doubt send you for a scan. Hope all goes well for you.
Period sounds fine, tiredness could be to do with thyroid, bloating could be irritable bowel syndrome....as stated above, I wouldnt search on the net, you will worry yourself silly, just go to your gp for a check up...hope all goes ok x
