2wks today to go

Only 2wks to go im all packed even have my cereal bars for energy all ready, have moses basket beside my bed all very excited and now this is the part i hate the waiting. baby's head been engaged a month now so everything all in place, this is my first baby. How many of you have had yours baby's arrive the day they were expected on? I have a feeling my little girl is going to be late because last scan i had i think was at 34wks she only weighed 3lb15oz, and i heard small baby's arrive late not sure how true that is

weight is no guide on when baby will arrive, wish it was cos my daughter was estimated 6lbs at 34 weeks and was born at 40+4.
it is sadi that babies put on about 0.5lb a week in last few weeks .

If this is your first then all you can do is wait it out, yes its boring, but baby wont come until ready to do so. Just get on with things until baby arrives and try and ensure that baby is in the correct position to ensure that once labour starts the babys head is in correct place on cervix.

apparently only 10% of babies arrive on their due dates.

I'm only 20 weeks so I'm not due until 22Nd August.
I'm ready now though lol!

I heard it's not often babies are born on their due date, something like 1 in 20 I read in a baby bible!
